We've heard the term body positive used over and over again and if you read our previous blog post, you will understand what the terms means to JOSHSHE. 

Another term which is sometimes interchangeable with body positive is the term body acceptance.

Although you might think they have the same meaning but actually there is a slight distinction.

Whilst body positive is a social movement, body acceptance is more of a personal thing.

Quite simply put, regardless of what your body looks like or what you feel your body looks like, you accept it and put no limitations to your body and are certainly not ashamed of your body.

If we all had this same attitude, this in turn means that there will be more body diversity which is an excellent thing right?

Like body positivity, it's not an overnight thing, it's a journey worth having.

So here are 4 tips for body acceptance:

1) Give yourself positive affirmations

2) Believe that you are worthy and enough

3) Look after your mind, body and soul

4)Stop comparing yourself to others

Once you start following the above tips, you will begin to live your best life because regardless of your shape and size, you are worthy, enough and absolutely fabulous!
